I'm glad you're here.  A good fit and compatibility is essential for great work in therapy so here's a little about me.

I grew up in Texas and moved to Denver for graduate school at Denver Seminary for a degree in Clinical Counseling.  Counseling has been a natural fit for me because I love helping others discover hope and healing for their lives while integrating their faith journey.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado with several years experience working with adults, families and at-risk youth in a residential setting.

My practice includes EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Splankna; both helpful tools for trauma and anxiety recovery along with traditional counseling. These methods allow for alternatives to traditional talk therapy that many have found to be swift and thorough in recovery.

In my free time you may find me at a dance class, spending time with my husband and son, reading a good book, and spending time outdoors.

Hope. Peace. Exploration. These are my values in working with you in your counseling path. Life is a curious journey.  If you find yourself stuck along the way, I see myself as a person who can help you remove the roadblocks with God's help.

Hope for the Journey is the name of the counseling group practice I work within. We are unique in that we are a group of therapists who operate from a Christian perspective.  While we will never force our own beliefs in counseling, our aim is to counsel based on Christian values that are marked by love, joy, peace, patience, kindness and faithfulness.

Fort Collins Location

I also practice out of my home in north Fort Collins.  I have a separate entrance for an office space that is about 3.5 miles from CSU Campus.
